Brandy Norwood is putting out a call to Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. The singer-actress is hoping to reprise her role as Karla Wilson in the upcoming reboot of the 1997 horror classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
Brandy recently made her return to the horror genre with a role in the Blumhouse film "The Babysitter: Killer Queen." It wouldn't be a huge leap to see her getting involved with the upcoming reboot of "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which is being produced by Sony Pictures.
In a recent interview, Brandy expressed her interest in returning to the franchise. "I need them to call me," she said. "I would love to be a part of it. I think it would be great."
Brandy's character, Karla Wilson, was one of the four main characters in the original film. She was the best friend of Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and the girlfriend of Ray Bronson (Freddie Prinze Jr.).
The upcoming reboot of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" is being directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. The film stars Camila Mendes, Madelyn Cline, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Freddie Prinze Jr.
